Rain Bird® VAN nozzles can be adjusted to the exact pattern of the lawn, ensuring the need for watering of the landscape so you don't have to worry. They are ideal for irregularly shaped corners and small lawn areas on pavements and driveways; they can also be used to water flowerbeds or shrubs.
Functions
- The simple rotation of the central ring, without the need for special tools, allows you to increase or decrease the arc definition, making it ideal for watering irregularly shaped areas;
- Quickly identify the radius with Top Color-coded™ nozzles even when the system is not running;
- The 12, 15 and 18-VAN nozzles have a precipitation rate adapted for Rain Bird MPR nozzles;
- Easy arc adjustment from 0° to 360° for 10-, 12-, 15- and 18-VAN; 0° to 330° for 4-, 6- and 8-VAN;
- Textured base and ring are easy to handle, even when wet ;
- A physical left end indicator makes it easy to detect the fixed left end;
- Stainless steel adjustment screw to adjust flow rate and reach;
- “Captured” screw slot prevents screwdriver from slipping during adjustment;
- Blue mesh filter (0.02" x 0.02") (supplied with nozzles) maintains precise radius adjustment and prevents clogging;
- Compatible with all Rain Bird sprinklers and bush adapters.
Working range
- Spacing: 3 to 18 ft (0.9 m to 5.5 m)¹
- Pressure: 15 to 30 psi (1.0 to 2.1 bar)
- Ideal pressure: 30 psi (2.1 bar)²
¹These ranges are based on proper nozzle pressure.
²Rain Bird recommends using 1800 PRS sprinklers to maintain peak nozzle performance in high pressure situations.
