The operation of the probes of salt machines can be particularly affected resulting in incorrect dosage and potentially dangerous chemicals.
To determine whether a probe is subject to stray currents, place the probe into a bucket of water of the pool and check whether the measurement obtained varies from that obtained directly from the pool. A probe unaffected should not show changes in measurements.
