HOW DOES IT WORK?
salt electrolysis is a simple principle similar to the behavior of the sea and its ecosystem. The pool water is brackish 4 g / l (9 times less than seawater). With electrolysis, through the cell, the salt turns into chlorine gas, a disinfectant potent that dissolves instantly in the water. Chlorine gas destroys all microorganisms the cell and gives the pool a correct level of free chlorine . The active chlorine (HOCl) disposed under the effect of solar UV rays is constantly renewed by the cell without the need for any intervention.
For the proper functioning of electrolysis the pH of the pool should be maintained between 7.2 and 7.6 . All salt chlorinators Zodiac ® are equipped cells with titanium electrodes high quality and long lasting which are a quiet assurance for the user.
