High pressure nebulizer systems
The principle of evaporative cooling, like sweating in the human body, happens when a breeze hits water on your skin. The smaller the drops of water, the faster they absorb heat and turn into steam.
How does it work?
We use nebulised water with the aim of lowering the temperature. Using a high-pressure pump, we increase the water pressure to 100 bar and by means of our special injectors we nebulise it into water particles 5 to 10 microns thick (smaller than the thickness of a human hair). The droplets evaporate instantly on touching the skin, absorbing heat and leaving a pleasant sensation of freshness.
Each ml of water absorbs 600 calories of heat when evaporating.
Evaporative efficiency!
The 6 micron droplets of the FOG system are 1000 times more efficient than the 60 micron droplets produced by the best low pressure systems on the market.
Performance and advantages
The effectiveness of the system depends on the temperature and humidity. The higher the temperature and the lower the humidity, the better the results.
In subtropical climates the cooling effect is generally possible because the maximum temperatures in the middle of the day generally coincide with the lowest relative humidity. This allows cooling by misting.
