The PRS-Dial is an excellent means of regulating the outlet pressure at the valve regardless of inlet pressure fluctuations. The visible scale allows for quick and easy adjustment. The regulator is compatible with all Rain Bird PGA, PEB, PESB, PESB-R, EFB-CP, and BPES series valves and maintains a constant output pressure between 15 and 100 psi.
Features
- The PRS-Dial is an excellent means of independently regulating the output pressure at the valve of inlet pressure fluctuations. The visible scale makes adjustment quick and easy. The regulator is compatible with all Rain Bird series PGA, PEB, PESB, PESB-R, EFB-CP and BPES valves
- Regulates and maintains a constant output pressure between 15 and 100 psi (1 .04 and 6.9 bar) within ±3 psi (±0.21 bar)
- Ergonomic design with spring cap to prevent vandalism
- The proof dial cartridge
- Dial cartridge fits all existing PRS-D units
- Schrader valve connects to pressure hose gauge
- Easy installation in the field. PRS-Dial threads under solenoid and adapter
- Corrosion resistant fiberglass reinforced nylon for robust performance
- For proper operation, inlet pressure must be at least 15 psi (1, 04 bar) higher than the desired outlet pressure.
- In areas with very high pressure or on uneven terrain, install sprinklers with pressure regulating rods (PRS) and/or SAM regulating valves
- When inlet pressure exceeds 100 psi (6.9 bar), main pressure regulating valve or in-line pressure regulator required
- Rain Bird does not recommend the use of the pressure regulation module in applications with out-of-limit flow rates Recommended
- To reduce water hammer effects, Rain Bird recommends that flow rates in the supply conduit not exceed 7.5 ft/sec (2.29 m/sec)
- For flows less than 10 gpm (2.27 m3/h; 37.8 l/s), Rain Bird recommends that the flow control column be closed two full turns from the fully open position
